Shaq Attack

Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal or simply Shaq is considered to be one of the most dominant player in the history of the NBA. He is just so big that can dominate specially the low-post area. I also consider him as one of my favorite centers in the game of basketball.

Investing in Mutual Fund

I always have the great desire to invest in Mutual Fund but just don't know when to start. We may call it as a defensive move on my part but I just want to know the concept of the game prior to investing. Frankly, I was a bit skeptical because the market seem to be volatile. Hopefully, I will invest a portion of my hard-earned money in Mutual fund, the soonest possible time.

For the benefit of those who doesn't have any idea as to what Mutual fund is all about. A mutual fund is simply a financial intermediary that allows a group of investors to pool their money together with a predetermined investment objective. The mutual fund will have a fund manager who is responsible for investing the pooled money into specific securities (usually stocks or bonds). When you invest in a mutual fund, you are buying shares (or portions) of the mutual fund and become a shareholder of the fund. Many experts believe that it's one of the best investments ever created because they are very cost efficient and very easy to invest in.
It is is far more secure though and earn more than bank deposits.

When you invest in Mutual Fund, you are buying the shares at a specified amount or called net asset value per share(NAVPS).You can get a profit from it once you redeem the shares at a higher NAVPS.
Invest now..!!!
GOD BLESS US ALL.

Pacquiao is the best

We all get the idea how badly Manny killed Diaz. So let's get to the talk of him being the number one pound for pound fighter in the world. There are no questions about it with this guy. He brings it all to the table. The victory puts Pacquiao into the historic elite as he won a title in his fifth weight division. He has won titles at flyweight, junior featherweight (122), feather weight (126) and in March, he narrowly won a decision over Juan Manuel Marquez for the junior lightweight title (130).

Manny said after the fight that he felt much stronger and quicker at 135 which is a very scary thought for all the lightweights out there and is the biggest draw in the entire division. I mean we have some possible big time matches that Manny can go for. He could go for a huge mega fight at 140 to fight Ricky Hatton, who fights Paul Malignaggi in November. The thought of that fights makes my hands numb because I know it would be the most exciting and emotional fight I think he would ever see. Look for early 2009 for that fight to happen.

Back to many being the best fighter in the world. Look, for many years people have said that either Roy Jones Jr or Floyd Mayweather were the best fighters in the world. They are both outstanding fighters and deserve the recognition they both get. But after watching Manny Pacquiao fight Saturday night, those two guys are ballet dancers compared to Pacman. There are no doubts, Manny is the best!

Hail the new king, pound4pound best boxer in the world

Manny Pacquiao's place among the greats in boxing history might have been secured Saturday night with a well-placed right jab and a solid left hand to the chin of David Diaz.

Before a largely pro-Filipino crowd of 8,362 that wildly cheered their hero's every move at Mandalay Bay Events Center, Pacquiao - now considered boxing's best pound-for-pound champion - won the World Boxing Council lightweight championship by knockout, 2 minutes, 24 seconds into the ninth round of the scheduled 12-round title bout.

Pacquiao leveled the bloodied but determined Diaz (34-2-1, 17 KOs) with a short left that was so devastating, the Chicago native landed face-first on the canvas.

"My first concern was for Diaz. I was praying he was all right," said Pacquiao, who opened cuts above his opponent's left ear and the bridge of his nose. But it was a huge gash that appeared above Diaz's right eye in the fourth round that sent blood pouring over his face.

"I tried to help him up," Pacquiao said after sending Diaz to the canvas. With Diaz face down, referee Vic Drakulich indicated the fight was over and Pacquiao climbed onto the corner ropes, prayed and raised his hands in celebration.

Diaz thought his boxing skills would help him score an upset.

"I had seen him on tape and felt I could handle his power," Diaz said. "But he's just too fast. I thought Freddie was in there hitting me, too."

If you missed the 9th Round KO., here it is.....

PACMAN cement his POUND-for-POUND STATUS..,

Speed has been Manny Pacquiao’s specialty ever since he was a scrawny 106-pound teenage brawler. When he stepped in the ring weighing 135 pounds on Saturday night, even his trainer wondered whether Pacquiao would lose some of his splendid speed with all that extra bulk.

That theory evaporated with one look at David Diaz’s lacerated, bloody face, even before it hit the canvas in the ninth round. Not only did Pacquiao keep his pace while winning the WBC lightweight title with a ninth-round knockout, he got stronger along the way.

Deciding To Start Your Own Business!!!

What a scary thought! Who would want to make that leap of faith and start their own business? Do you really have the self confidence to do it? Take a deep breath and think about it.

If you are contemplating starting your own business, I know these thoughts are running through your head. They certainly raced through my mind when I was thinking about it. This is a decision that needs thorough thought. Don’t jump into it without thinking.

Have you thought about opening a store? The investment for an “on the street” business is great – thousands and thousands of dollars. That excludes most of us. A workable alternative is a “work at home” business. The increasing popularity of the internet has really opened up that field. The instability of so many businesses has created a need for many people to work for themselves.

It is very possible to start an “at home business” with very little investment. This allows the “little guy” (you and me) to be self-employed. If you search the web for online businesses, you will find many that do require a large initial outlay of cash. That wasn’t for me. I wanted an opportunity to start with little or no cash output and then I could determine expenditures on advertising and other things. This would allow me to control my budget. Not having a lot to spend, I was aware that it is possible to find free methods of advertising which would require more time than money.

Some people will quit their “day job” and jump into a business. I do not advise this unless you are very financially secure. I continue my full time job, devoting all the hours I can in the evenings and weekends to my new business. This takes a lot of determination! You really need a lot of self confidence to believe that this business will succeed and you will be able to do it full time in the future. You really have to want to change your lifestyle. The thought of being in control of my destiny fuels me. I am determined to succeed.

Work at home businesses are also perfect for part time work. Those of you who just want to supplement your family’s income for vacation money, Christmas money, money to pay the bills would do well with an online business. You can control how much you earn and how much time you spend.

In this day of corporations constantly downsizing, no job is secure. Wouldn’t you rather be the one in charge? Wouldn’t you rather not have a long commute each day? Make the move! Start working for yourself.

'Pacman' to make boxing history

It's a no-brainer when someone ask who is Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. Even if boxing is not really the #1 sports in the Philippines but Pacman paved the way in putting the boxing realm in the highest pedestal. Whenever Pacman fights, almost all streets in the Philippines are empty. People from all walks of life eagerly watch his every fights.

Started his career in flyweight division and is now gunning for a title shot at Lightweight division, Pacman a.k.a Pacific storm or whirlind from the East is bound to create a boxing history where no Asian boxer has done so. Manny Pacquiao's quest to topple WBC lightweight champion David Diaz looks every bit like a homefield lock.

And if the Philippines are Pacquiao's birthplace and home, and Los Angeles is his training site, then Las Vegas has become "Pacman's" boxing backyard.

Just as Oscar De La Hoya's legion of fans will make the four-hour, Interstate 15 pilgrimage to Sin City to see their man in the ring, Pacquiao's devoted Filipino followers already are arriving by car and plane in anticipation of witnessing boxing history.

"To make history, to bring that kind of honor to my country and to my family, that means everything to me," said Pacquiao, 29, who is so insanely popular in the Philippines he can no longer train there without distraction, or walk the streets without a full security detail.

Earning Money

In these times of crisis where hardships can be felt and seen in everyones faces, you may found it absurd that people will always look for alternatives to meet both ends. Most people would always resort in applying abroad to earn at least higher income but few people would realize that God already put all the necessary things in our beloved country so that we would be successful and earn a lot. All we need to inculcate in our respective minds are dedication, perseverance, be smart and faith in God.It is time to utilize the resources that we have. As the say, If you don't want to agonize, economize. Most people will always live a lifestyle more than what they earn and thus "wants" is the top priority instead of needs.

Many times, a lot of families do not even know where their money is going. They just say they are unable to save. Many people think they are poor but in reality, they are not poor. They just can’t buy everything that they think they want. There are many ways of saving a little more each day.

There are a lot of ways to start generating money, you can start a small business even with a meager capital.Just be patient with it and always play smartly. You don't have to be a graduate of a prestigious university or a cum laude to run the business smoothly. You just have to be wise or be smart. For those who doesn't want to start a business yet, you may try investing in Mutual Fund.
A mutual fund is a company that brings together money from manypeople and invests it in stocks, bonds, or other securities.(The combined holdings of stocks, bonds, or other securities and assets the fund owns are known as its portfolio.) Each investor
owns shares, which represent a part of these holdings. Some companies like Sunlife or PAMI(PhilAm Asset Management Inc) accepts investments in as much as PhP5000.00.
Mutual Fund is only good if you wanted to have a long-term investment but just like any other investment, there are also risk involve.

Be smart and think of some ways to earn money.

NBA Finals Aftermath

The healing process for the LA Lakers has begun.

Their lost to Boston Celtics paved the way for finding the missing piece or changing their rosters. But, Kobe is still optimistic though that when Bynum a.k.a Baby Shaq comes back, Pau Gasol can move to Power forward where he is effective and Odom as small forward. Bynum seems to be the missing piece that Kobe wanted to fill in to resolve their rebounding problem.

The Celtics exposed at least two of the Los Angeles’ shortcomings during the finals: defense and rebounding. The Lakers had difficulty matching up with Boston’s stronger and more aggressive front line, including Kevin Garnett and Kendrick Perkins.

Kupchak believes the answer to the Lakers’ woes will be solved by the return of Andrew Bynum from a partially dislocated left kneecap, which sidelined him for the final three months of the regular season plus the playoffs.

Lastly, congratulations to Boston Celtics for winning the 2008 NBA Championships..,
Let's wait and see for if they'll remain competitive next season.,

Lethal Combination

June 28(US time) is when the Philippines' boxing phenom Manny Pacquiao tries an ambitious bid for a fourth title when he takes on David Diaz for the lightweight championship of the world. He would be the first Asian boxer in history to do so if he gets the lightweight title.

As humble as he is, Manny aka Pacman, remains the most exciting and best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. No other Filipino or Asian boxer, so to speak, has done such achievement. He is the face of the prizefighting boxing.

The privilege of competing with the new pound for pound king is where Diaz is looking at right now.

The battle should be an exciting one as both brawlers and sluggers will exchange punches in
Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino,Las Vegas, Nevada. So much is at stake with both warriors pledging a furious start which could only translate into an intensely violent ring battle in sustained velocity.

This happens when a crowd-pleasing puncher like Manny is matched with a relentless belter like David.

I expect a non-stop action and Pacman as the winner by KO in middle rounds.

Go Pacman..Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!
